![]() The contemporary incarnation of this group got its start when the titular six villains - Catman, Deadshot, Scandal Savage, Ragdoll, Cheshire and Parademon - refused invitations to join Lex Luthor's Secret Society of Super Villains. If there's any team in the DC Universe that can capture the dysfunctional vibe of the Guardians movies, it would definitely be the Secret Six. ![]() Whether Dial H for Hero is treated as a completely standalone project or a key part of Gunn's ongoing plans, this is a character we'd love to see in live-action. Any of these is ripe fodder for a good TV series. The idea behind Dial H for Hero is that teen genius Robby Reed stumbles across an enchanted rotary dial that, when used to dial the letters H-E-R-O, temporarily transforms him into a random superhero.ĭC has reinvented this concept a number of times over the years, including with a particularly mind-bending reboot courtesy of novelist China Miéville and artist Mateus Santolouco. Dial H for Heroĭial H for Hero is such a wonderfully weird concept that we can't help but wonder what Gunn could accomplish with this character. And if he chooses to pair the deeply conservative Question with the loudly liberal Green Arrow, a la Justice League Unlimited, so much the better. That's an arc Gunn could do a lot of great work with. The Question has become a fan-favorite over the decades thanks to his deep, compelling character arc and his evolution from vengeful bruiser to thoughtful, philosophical hero. He's also notable for being the inspiration behind Watchmen's Rorschach. Vic doesn't really have any powers beyond that, though he sure does love bludgeoning evildoers into submission. ![]() The Question is Vic Sage, crusading reporter-turned-vigilante who's marked by his distinctive, faceless mask. Sadly, that crossover never happened, but there's always hope that things will be different in the DCU. We suspect The Question is at the top of many lists of characters fans hoped to see join the Arrowverse.
